active effect will bloom (i hope that doesn't even smoke on), but is practically useless if the enemy models aren't green. discourage the bloom (strongly affects the fps of the game) if you haven't a fast pc, instead of trying to adjust the value of r_intensity (serves to intensify the general lighting) for increased visibility of the models.
